Prepare to delve into the enigmatic realm of the paranormal, where reality and imagination intertwine in spine chilling tales and unexplained phenomena!
Our Journeys
I am a paranormal investigator that works with a large team of individuals whose mission it is to research, debunk or confirm paranormal activity. We are actively involved in our community doing events that help people understand the spirit world. We promote safety and understanding as well as help calm fears of the unknown. Our team has members from Broward County to Palm Beach County serving and assisting those communities as well as communities to the north. We have traveled as a group as well as individually to some of the most haunted places in the country all in the quest for knowledge and understanding.
Technically Advanced
Our team is the most technically advanced team in Florida; we can assist anyone that is having paranormal activity in their home or business.
1. Undisclosed Location
Undisclosed location - Lake Worth, Florida
This location is being kept secret at the request of my host, it is not a public location.
Full disclosure, I visited this site five or six times over the course of about 2 years. I didn’t really consider this to be an active location, yet something kept calling me back. I am glad it did. The cumulation of my visits changed my mind.
Below is the story of one of the nights I was there.
Disembodied voices, footsteps, equipment manipulation, poltergeist activity, white noise communication, spirit box communication and energetic physical changes that myself and others personally experienced.
We talked, and as I mentioned we were getting some pretty good communication, Joe, one of the War Party Paranormal team members (check him out on socials at Joe Hunts Ghosts) asked, do you want to play a game? I said good idea, let’s play Simon Says. I briefly reminded everyone of the rules and then we started the game. The cat balls started lighting up (as typical of this group, we tested to make sure that it wasn’t one of us moving the table and making the cat balls light up), it was not. We continued with the Simon says game, going around the table, The Mel Meter was showing some temperature changes, they were not big enough fluctuations to be considered paranormal. Watching, talking, cat ball blinking. The cat ball was knocked off the raggedy Ann Doll and on to the table. We thanked the spirit energy and of course as usual asked them to knock it off again. But something different happened. Remember that can of my trusty energy drink? The can moved; I looked at the investigator directly across from me and she blurted out “that was cool as shit, that can just moved”. I picked up the can, checked for any condensation (even though this was an outside table that was full of holes for drainage), I also picked it up to see how much was still in the can, there was a small breeze and an empty can could have been blown a little bit, but the can was still more than half full. I was thrilled to be witness to this activity, it’s not often that I get to see this for myself. Even if nothing else happened on this night, I was glad I was there. The rest of this story will be revealed in time.

2. Aerojet Dade Rocket Facility – Florida Everglades
It was a full moon December night in Florida. The perfect night to go deep into the Florida Everglades. The clouds passing over the full moon added to the visual beauty that was presented to us. Off in the near distance the sounds of alligator croaks and howling coyotes welcomed in the nights full moon.
I was with a small group of 6 people, all there to investigate what could be considered one of the spookiest places ever. It had everything that makes up a good investigation location. It is secluded, abandoned, and has been the site of many horrendous acts.
The Investigation: What we found was energetically overwhelming. I had to leave the buildings a couple of time for fresh air and energetic reboot.
Building one: we spent a lot of time in this building. First the initial walk through to just feel everything. Then we walked every room again, taking a more detailed look around. I walked slower this time, taking in all the energy and sights. Then the quiet. One of my favorite parts of an investigation is when its quiet. When I can just sit in the dark and listen and watch. It can be difficult to get everyone to sit still at the same time, but when we do it’s amazing. We could hear disembodied voices, foot steps and whistling. Off in the distance what sounded like rhythmic drumming, a full body apparition (minus the head). What I ‘saw’, the most intense thing I ‘saw’ was a girl (young woman) that appeared to be hanging from an apparatus that was connected to the ceiling. The hanging was not even the bad part of what happened to her. There was abuse, by several youngish boys. They thought it was a game; they thought it was funny. They laughed as she struggled.
We did a couple of EVP sessions in this location. Eyes were on us; I could feel it. I looked around, fully expecting someone to walk up on us. The footsteps were close, the change in temperature, the energy shift. This place was amazing.
Building Two:
This building had a totally different energy to it. It was darker, this was a place where evil tries to live. This was a building of rituals, satanic propaganda, and desperation.
The pentagram room: In this room was a large 40-50’ pentagram painted on the floor with remnants of a fire in the center. It was obvious by the energy in this room that the intended meaning of this symbol followed the 19th century satanic beliefs (pentagram history below). It felt like this was a ritual room. Used to conjure up spirit energy. The far wall was riddled with bullet holes and outlines made to look like blood spatter was around the floor and walls. I did not like this room. I took a peek in, braced myself, and asked for protection from my higher power and spirit guides before I walk in. Comments from the other team members let me know that they were also felling uncomfortable. I reminded them (an also myself) that love will always win over hate and that no negative energy can take over a place where pure positive energy exists. Trust your belief system.
I moved from this room into the larger main section of the building. This room lead into a hallway with another large room and several small rooms. Each room had its own story, told through energy, graffiti and the piles of debris left behind. Some of these rooms were filled with fear. Thise childhood dares to see if you an make it though the night. Fires were built, people huddled in the corner, drinking and laughing until the darkness and fear set in. This is not a place I would spend the night in alone. I took comfort in the group. I don’t consider myself scared of much, but when the flashlights are off, all the living people have stopped moving and you see a shadow figure pass right by you. That is enough to have the fear start setting in. So no thank you on being there alone.
But in this group, these are the experiences that I live for. The disembodied voices, the shadow figures, the EVP recordings, the energy.
3. St. Ann Shirine
Hidden in a small peaceful community near Lake Wales, Florida – St. Anne Shrine is a dedication of love, strength, belief and determination.
The history:
About 100 years ago a group of Catholics from Canada traveled to Florida, looking for an escape from the cold. Celebrating their beliefs they built a shrine to celebrate St Anne – Mother off the Virgin Mary. A small chapel was built, a grotto, a stature of Jesus Christ and a tiered monument to St. Theresa. Later a moat was built around the grotto and using natural Florida stone and arched bridge was crafted.
In 1926 a French Artist named Francies Marsollier brought his son to the shire in hopes of healing him from tuberculous. He pledged that if his son was healed, he would dedicate his life to the shrine. His son got better and Marsollier went on to paint the chapel and create elaborate sculptures for the church and surrounding area.
People, hearing of this miracle came to the area in mass, but in 1960 the Catholic Diocese of Orlando determined that the site was obsolete, and it was slated to be torn down, only the front steps are left at the site the church one stood. The Diocese still owns the land and in 1980 a priest attempted to sell the land so that a house could be built, the neighborhood rose up and the plan for that sale was quickly stopped.
I recommend you make this a stop on your travels but remember this is a place to be respected and treasured. Over the years it has become weathered, and damaged, but it’s beauty still remains.
4. May-Stringer
The May-Stringer House
Located in Brooksville, Florida this house is rumored to be one of the most haunted houses in Florida.
A visit to the May-Stringer takes some planning, private investigations are booked for a year in advance. We booked and waited. As the date approached, I grew excited, was all the hype, just hype. I was about to find out. There she was in all her three-story Victorian glory. The small group of six investigators was shown around, given instructions on what not to touch, be careful the house was settling and the floors are still uneven. Walking in to the lower level will catch you a little off guard because of the sloping floors.
The house was lovely, I am a big fan or architecture and love old furnishings, throw in a really cool fireplace (and there were several) and I am hooked. We walked around, listened and waiting to be turned lose to do our thing.
Paired up with another investigator we chose the room that is now set up as the communications room. Located on the second floor it contained old phones and switchboards. The communications room shares a doorway with the nursery. The room that Marena Died, not long after given birth to a daughter they named Jessie Mae. We decided to put equipment in both rooms and see what happened. Nothing. So, we focused our attention to the nursery. There was plenty residual (energy left behind from people who were in this space) but not intelligent energy (energy able to communicate). We set up blocks and dominoes all in the hopes that we would get the spirit energy to knock them over, we wanted any sign that we were communicating with spirit energy, again, nothing but residual energy.
Not willing to give up hope we moved to another bedroom. The Wedding dress room. The fabrics and the dresses were worthy of the display. We admired these dresses as we once again set out our equipment. Tripwires (picks up on electromatic fields), cameras, REM Pods (designed to pick up electromatic fields, and temperature changes) all at the ready to assist us in picking up spirit energy. Again, only residual energy was detected. Slightly frustrated we moved on again, this time to the attic.
The attic was an interesting place, we did get some intelligent spirit responses in this area. There was a wire hanging from a beam, we asked the spirit to move that wire and to our joy the wire moved. This was successfully repeated three or four times. Finally, some intelligent interaction. There were shadows moving around in the area. We decided to just sit, no equipment, just two investigators talking to spirit energy. We both enjoy sitting in the moment and feeling. We sat there for maybe 30 minutes before another group worked their way into the attic.
On to our next location. The stairs and the second-floor landing. This might seem like an unlikely area to investigate but every time I was on those stairs I was affected: my knee gave out, I was anxious, I felt like something bad was going to happen, I just knew I was going to fall down the stairs (with each trip up or down, I held the rail for dear life, being very intentional with each step I took). Once at the landing area we sat for a bit. Talking about the house and that we were kind of disappointed in the lack of activity. We wondered if there is such a thing as over investigating a location to the point that the spirit activity dissipates (I’ll talk about that in a different blog).
As we sat there something caught my attention, we continued to talk but my focus was on this doll in a glass cabinet. There were several, but this one, I had my eye on her. After seeing this doll move for the third or 4th time, I asked the pother investigation to sit next to me and see if she sees anything. After a couple of minutes, she said ‘that doll just moved’. I asked her to then switch places with me, so that we could both see this doll at a different angel. Again, within seconds, we both saw her move. Then one of the other dolls moved her arm. Both of us, sitting in different locations (to eliminate the chance that we were seeing shadows) at the same time said that arm moved.
We had no equipment set up; we were just watching. I decided to set up a camera, as I did several other investigators came into the area, conversations were had as they walked through. I set the camera up and then left it there to run. It ran, and I do have video, the grainiest video that you will ever see. I watched it, I saw that doll move. As an experienced investigator I don’t get startled, or caught off guard, you won’t hear me scream or run from a room. But this, that doll, she impressed me. I’ve been thinking about her for days, kicking myself for not setting up the equipment correctly, kicking myself for not finding a way to prove what I saw. Then I remember, where there is proof there will always be a skeptic, where there is belief there will be understanding.
5. Wild Cow Prairie Cemetery
Wild Cow Prairie Cemetery - Located in Bushnell, Florida
Once thought to be a family cemetery the recent discoveries have shown that there are many people buried there, including slave decedents from the Green Plantation, military veterans, and early area leaders. With Grave markers showing dates from 1849 to 1925.
In 2021 using ground penetrating radar 16 marked graves and (at that time) 28 unmarked graves were located. Of those 15 are considered to be shrouded burials, meaning that the bodies were wrapped in sheets and buried without a casket. Since then, based on the photos I took in 2024 there are 45 unknown graves, some extending beyond the fence line. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the historical society this land now has earned national historical designation. Restoration efforts are in place.
6. Bink Glissen Historical Museum
I didn’t have any expectations when I walked into this building. The structure itself has no historical significance. I have walked by this building countless times. With its unassuming façade blending into the background. There was never a need to go inside. As far as I knew this building was space for offices and occasionally classes. It was a new building, kind of out of place for this historic location, so just like every other paranormal investigator, I just passed it. No one has ever investigated this building, because, why bother, it had no great story, no real draw. This night was a little different, we had a large group of guests attending our paranormal investigation and we wanted to start the night out with an experiment, this building might be a good place for that. There was a large open space and plenty of seating. Before the guests arrived, we went inside to check it out. Oh, how glad I was.
Being in a known haunted location (for context this is on the same property as the famously haunted Riddle House), and the artifacts this building contained was enough to fill me with excitement. Once in the building I was not disappointed. I wandered around, looking and feeling the energy that was in abundance. Filled with the collection belonging to Authur William “Bink” Glisson this museum was an energetic and paranormal hot bed of activity. Bink’s collection of guns, swords, marine and military artifacts were a thing of beauty and intrigue.
I was thrilled to be part of the only team of paranormal investigators that got to experience this. It might not seem like much but as an investigator finding something new is thrilling. The spirits did not disappoint. We experienced shadow figures, EVP communications, temperature changes and most importantly (for me) physically feeling spirit energy. This was the most excited I have been on an investigation in a long time, I can’t wait to go back!
7. Gold Coast Railroad Museum
When I decided to go to this location for a Paranormal Investigation, I admit that I figured it was going to be typical of the places I investigate often. I have been to a lot of haunted locations. I walk old cemeteries for fun, so I am usually not expecting anything crazy or over the top. I admit this is the place to be. There was activity from the spirit world from the start. So much so that my normal over analytical brain kicked in and I was looking for non-paranormal reasons for the things I experienced. There were shadows, train car movement, tapping and what can only be described as a scratching sound not to mention the intelligent responses to EVP sessions.
At one point in the investigation we even took out a level to see if we could get evidence of the train car shift - spoiler alert, we did. I worked along side a group of very seasoned investigators and I think all would agree that this place lives up to its reputation of being one of the most haunted locations in Florida.
The History of this location and of the trains housed here is fascinating. I was so caught up in just experiencing that I didn’t take a lot of pictures. I encourage you to visit for an investigation. War Party Paranormal hosts events here often.
8. Coral Castle
Coral Castle, located in Homestead, Florida, is a unique structure built by a single man named Edward Leedskalnin. The history of Coral Castle begins in the early 20th century when Leedskalnin, a Latvian immigrant, fell in love with a young girl named Agnes. The two planned to marry, but that ultimately did not happen. Heartbroken, he decided to create a monument to his lost love.
The official story, as told by Leedskalnin, is that he was rebuffed by his young sweetheart. When his beloved, Agnes Scuffs, refused to marry him, Leedskalnin salved his wounds by building the castle as a tribute to her and the life they might have had together.
The unofficial story, as also told by Leedskalnin (though not at all as widely as his tale of unrequited love), is that the castle was built as a temple to the Egyptian gods, constructed using the same techniques the ancient Egyptians used to build pyramids.
What adds to the allure of Coral Castle is the mystery surrounding how he managed to construct it without modern machinery. Many theories have been proposed regarding his construction techniques, ranging from levers and pulleys to more mystical explanations involving magnetism or sound. Despite extensive speculation, Leedskalnin never revealed his methods, leaving visitors and historians fascinated by the feat.
Leedskalnin continued to work on Coral Castle until he died in 1951.
The Haunted Lore:
The Coral Castle has been investigated by several Paranormal Investigation teams; those teams have reported that team members felt like they were being followed around the property, there were also reports of cold spots, disembodied voices, and apparitions.
My Experience:
I must admit this was the most energetically charged place I have ever been to. The minute I walked through the gate, I was lost; my brain and thoughts were all over the place. As someone who is affected by energy, this was a pretty interesting place. Usually, when I am doing an investigation, I walk the area very systematically. This time, I felt like I was being bounced from place to place, backtracking and zig-zagging around the area. I felt electrified by the intense energy. It took several hours for me to get back regulated after I left. I saw one shadow off in the distance beyond the castle, but on the property, which I could not verify was paranormal.
I did pick up on the energy of a younger girl, like 21 or 22, who was in a car accident and hit a tree right on the property line. This young girl started coming to me a few days before we were scheduled to go to the site, so I felt that we would be able to interact freely once I got there. And we did. She showed me what happened, she told me about leaving the location she was at, that she and her boyfriend got into a fight, she was crying, sobbing actually, and wasn't paying attention. She lost control of the car, crossed over several lanes of traffic, and hit a tree. I saw the windshields and I saw the blood. Unfortunately, I was in an area that I really wasn't supposed to be in and was asked to return to the castle. I thanked her for her time, shared a silent prayer, and returned to the location that I was asked to investigate.
10/10 for beauty and history, 10/10 for electrified energetic connection, 2/10 on the haunted scale. While I am sure there is some residual energy there, we got zero evidence on our equipment.
9. The Devils Tree
The tale of two trees
“I am probably at least one of the top SKs serial killers of this century,” I am certainly one of the most interesting and maybe the most articulate and introspective. I am no doubt the most skillful killer….I killed women in all ways from shooting, strangling, stabbing, and beheading to odd ways such as drowning, smothering and crucifixion.”
Gerard John Schaefer
It was early January and the temperatures were going to drop, Jacket in hand, gear and snacks packed, off we went. It’s hard to navigate the woods at night, especially for someone like me. As we walked sounds could be heard off in the distance. Animals for sure, but also distant voices. I have heard the rumors of people gathering at the tree at night. I was doing the same thing. Intentions might be different, but the actions were the same. I was semi-prepared to react if we happened upon ill-wishers, but I would rather not have that happen.
It was scary, it was dark, it was a risk being here when we were, but here we were and I was excited to have this chance. This has been a paranormal bucket list item for years. Might seem like a strange birthday wish, but it’s the one I made and my friends and fellow investigators were all the willing to make it happen.
This was The Devils Tree. Evil and sinister things happened here. There are two trees, the real one and the one that folk lore and mob mentality has determined to be the tree. They look alike. Same kind of tree, about the same age and height. We were at THE tree. The real tree, the actual site of the torture of innocent young girls and not far from the dumping grounds where the bodies of two other innocent girls were buried.
I chose my spot at the back of the tree, made my way through some underbrush, and sat down on the thick pile of fallen leaves. Nik, sitting right next to me, the way I feel most comfortable. We talked about the energy, what we were feeling, the history and lore of the area. This time being no exception we talked about how beautiful this area and this tree are. I think we do this to regulate our own and each other’s energy without even realizing it. Allowing ourselves to be energetically venerable is the magic of this relationship. Something that we don’t take for granted. She knows me, understands me and I trust her, without exception. It is Just that simple and just that complex.
This was an energetically intense location, one that took a lot out of me. More and different than I was expecting. This is a very abbreviated account of this night:
here is how the story unfolded in my spirit communication:
Schaefer was abused by his father, as were the mother and sister. When Schaefer attempted to protect them, the father unleashed a furry of assaults on him. Feeling powerless against his father he sought power in other ways. Becoming a cop was one way he did that. Once that wasn’t enough, he turned to domination and then torture. I feel confident that I know his story. Filled with disgust for this vile man the group took a break. We decided to move on, no longer wanting to give this ‘man’ any attention.
The Other tree
Back through the woods we go, shaking off the energy and impact of The Devil’s tree. We were being followed; we could feel it. Oddly enough every time we took a wrong turn; I knew it because we weren’t being followed anymore. Once back on the right path, there it was again. Looming overhead, watching. The tree that refused to die or be killed. This is the tree that the rituals take place. This is the tree that many had tried to destroy. I was curious what this tree would have to say.
The trunk, damaged, scared, and disrespected, this tree refused to be stopped. Large gouges from the trunk replaced by what looked like concrete, hollowed out areas, replaced by debris. This tree was not loved by the curious, it was tortured by them.
There was plenty of energy to be felt being in this area, but it was a combination of the people that have been here and nothing else. It was energy left behind, energy that had been superimposed by the masses. It could be felt, but it’s a different feeling. It feels more distant and removed. It’s a combination of energies that make them less clear or relatable. I walked the area, looked, touched, and listened. It’s a beautiful location but one that is filled with more bystander fear than anything else.
Having this location on my bucket list for so long I was afraid that I was setting myself up for disappointment. Although it was not what I expected, it was everything that I enjoyed. Nature, beauty, creepy, scary, spooky, and filled with communicative energy. This is a fantastic place to visit during the day. Once the sun sets the energy shifts, becoming less inviting and a little intimidating. Overall, 7/10. Definitely worth the visit and the trek through the woods. I took points away because I didn’t like the way the story made me feel. I was sad and disgusted by this person.
10. Port Mayaca
Port Mayaca Memorial Gardens – Canal Point, Florida
Formed as a result of the 1928 hurricane, this site holds a mass grave and memorial site that honors those victims.
As a seasoned paranormal investigator, and psychic medium there is not much that scares me when it comes to communicating with spirit energy. This night was a little different. Pulling into the cemetery about an hour after sunset the cemetery was very welcoming. It was the most beautiful star filled night I have seen in a long time. This cemetery is well maintained with graves adorned with flowers and solar lights. I couldn’t wait to get started, to walk around and see and hear everything that these souls were willing to share with me. But I didn’t. I just sat. Sitting in the mausoleum with another investigator, we listened and watched. Shadow figures were all around, not even trying to avoid us. Disembodied voices, actual conversations could be heard, banging on the walls, footsteps. The spirit energy in this cemetery was everywhere, and it was ready to be seen and heard. We were amazed at the spirit energy that was around us. After about 45 minutes we both decided we were a little on the energetically overloaded side and needed to take a break. We sat in the car for about 10 minutes until additional investigators got there.
This small group of four investigators walked along the roadway paths through the cemetery, hearing footsteps behind us as we went. We had some communication with a young girl who identified herself to me as AnnMarie. Her story was about one of a life cut short by illness. She was about 7 when her illness became chronic. Suffering from severe lung issues caused by burning sugar cane. She passed at the age of nine. This was not a sad interaction, but it was one that was hard on me physically. Once, the indicators of her struggle presented to me in a continuous cough that stopped the minute we started talking to someone else and returned as soon as I typed her name while writing this.
This is a majestically beautiful location, and one of the most active locations I have been to. 10/10 I go back as often as I can
